Weston Bay Resort is a development of two and three bedroom holiday bungalows which nestle upon the cliff top over-looking the secluded pebble beach of Weston Mouth on the East Devon Coast. It lies between the delightful Regency seaside town of Sidmouth and its enchanting beaches, such as Jacob's Ladder, and the beautiful fishing village of Beer with its quaint and often photographed Beer Beach.
Weston Bay Resort overlooks and provides access to the National Heritage maintained South West Coastal Pathway. An unrivalled and spectacular coastal path which in its entirety stretches 630 miles from Minehead in Somerset to Poole in Dorset.
Weston Bay is an ideal touring base for the whole of the southwest. Dorset is just a twenty five minute drive, Somerset is about half an hour and Cornwall about an hour and a quarter away and of course you are already in Devon.
Weston Bay lies upon a section known as the Jurassic Coast. This 95 mile section of truly stunning coastal pathway geographically records 185 million years of the Earth's History. Amongst its stretches of sand, shingle and pebbled beaches fossils are clearly visible and often found, a haunting natural history of the Earths development. Jurassic Coast website will provide more fascinating details.
